This policy explains what data CadenceAlpha collects, why, and how it's handled. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the service, we don't sell your data, and your uploads stay yours.
1. What we collect
Account data: email and name, managed through our authentication provider (Clerk).
Content you upload: audio tracks, lyrics and optional reference video, stored on our own infrastructure (self-hosted object storage in the EU).
Usage data: basic logs (requests, errors) needed to operate and secure the service.
2. What we use it for
To provide the service: audio analysis, lyric alignment, caption design and export. To bill paid plans (processed by Stripe). To send essential account emails (processed by Resend).
We do not sell your data or use your content to train AI models without explicit consent.
Transparency (AI): your audio/video is processed by AI agents (language and audio models) to generate the caption design; the subtitle output is AI-generated and you should review it before use.
3. Where it lives
Your files are stored on our own servers in the European Union. GPU audio processing may run on a dedicated cloud provider for the duration of the job, after which temporary files are removed.
4. Your rights
You can delete your projects at any time from the dashboard, and request full account deletion by writing to support@cadencealpha.ai. EU users have the rights provided by the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability).
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies: session authentication, a language preference cookie (ca_lang), and your cookie-consent choice (ca_cookie_consent). No third-party advertising trackers or analytics.
